英語(yǔ)講義【66】英語(yǔ)慣用語(yǔ)的類(lèi)別
英語(yǔ)詞匯豐富，慣用語(yǔ)很多。學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)者，不能只注意單字單詞，他們也必須同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)各常見(jiàn)的慣用語(yǔ)，以便從另一領(lǐng)域增加英語(yǔ)詞匯。
什么是英語(yǔ)慣用語(yǔ)呢？它們有哪些類(lèi)別呢？
所謂慣用語(yǔ)（idiomatic expressions），顧名思義，就是兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上的字合組而成一個(gè)固定短語(yǔ)，具有個(gè)固定意思，有時(shí)，如片語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞，還可能有一個(gè)以上的含義。
英語(yǔ)常見(jiàn)慣用語(yǔ)有七種如下：
?、迤Z(yǔ)動(dòng)詞（phrasal verbs），如：
①turn down：拒絕；②turn up：出現(xiàn)；③take after：長(zhǎng)得像 ；④put off：延期；⑤put up with：忍受；⑥do away with：取消、廢除；⑦go back on：食言；⑧zero in on：將注意力集中在
㈡介詞短語(yǔ)（prepositional phrases），如：

在這七種慣用語(yǔ)中，㈠－㈤數(shù)目多又好用，片語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞尤為特出，不論是口語(yǔ)或書(shū)寫(xiě)，都很適合。第七類(lèi)，流傳已久，耳熟能詳，宜于適當(dāng)時(shí)刻使用。第六類(lèi)出現(xiàn)的時(shí)間較遲，數(shù)量較少，但是很有用，頗受歡迎。
