“逝世”都可以怎么說(shuō)？

我們中國(guó)人通常都很忌諱說(shuō)死這個(gè)字，不同時(shí)期對(duì)死也有不同的說(shuō)法。古代按照等級(jí)的劃分有天子死曰崩，諸侯死曰薨，大夫死曰卒，士曰不祿，庶人曰死的說(shuō)法，現(xiàn)在我們會(huì)說(shuō)一個(gè)人離開了我們，去世了、走了等。
英語(yǔ)中除了用die這個(gè)比較直接的說(shuō)法表示死以外，其實(shí)也有不少委婉的表達(dá)方式，比如pass away、pass on、depart、expire、perish等，這里的perish多指非正常死亡，比如perish in battle(在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中死亡)。
其他一些英語(yǔ)中常用的委婉說(shuō)法還有：
His time has come.
He has climbed the golden staircase.
His number is up.
His sands have run out.
His star has set.
He has joined the majority.
He is sleeping the final sleep.
