　　A 以名詞從句作主語的句子常常由it開頭：

　　It is disappointing that Tom cant come.

　　湯姆不能來，真掃興。(that Tom cant come是主語。)

　　B 常見的結(jié)構(gòu)是it+be/seem+形容詞+名詞從句：

　　Its splendid that you passed your exam.

　　你通過考試了，真棒。

　　Its strange that there are no lights on.

　　真奇怪，沒有一盞燈是開著的。

　　有些形容詞需要或可以與thatshould連用：

　　It is essential that everybody knows/should know what to do.

　　重要的是，每個(gè)人都應(yīng)知道該做什么。

　　C 另一種可代用的結(jié)構(gòu)是it+be/seem+a+名詞+名詞從句。

　　下列名詞均可用于這種結(jié)構(gòu)：mercy，miracle，nuisance，pity，shame，relief，wonder。也可以使用a good thing。

　　Its a great pity(that)they didnt get married.

　　他們沒能結(jié)婚，真是令人惋惜。

　　Its a wonder(that)you werent killed.

　　Its a good thing(that)you were insured.
