Dear headmaster,
I’m writing to tell you some problems about the boarding students. These problems have affected the good rest, even the study of students. After the lights are turned off, some students make phone calls, send text-massages of surfing the Internet by cell-phone. Once in a while, they will chat with their roommates far into the night. Besides, some slow learners will do homework by the torchlight.
Although our school has provided good boarding conditions, there is still much room for improvement in management and proper guidance. First of all, head-teachers should be kept informed of their students’ performances in the dormitory and work together with managing teachers. Secondly, teachers should educate students to respect others and use cell-phones at the correct time. Last but not the least, students should observe the rules and be self-disciplined.
