一、留意一詞多性
前面第三講中提到過,進(jìn)行選項歸類時要注意一詞多性,有些單詞既是名詞又是動詞,有些單詞即是形容詞又是名詞,而有些分詞也可以充當(dāng)形容詞,備選項中的這種一詞多性的現(xiàn)象無形中擴(kuò)大了考生的選擇范圍,經(jīng)常會干擾考生的正確選擇。

Decades ago, there were only a 55 number of drugs available, and many of them caused significant side effects in older people, including dizziness and fatigue. 【選項】

二、留意一詞多義
篇章詞匯題的備選項中有很多單詞都是一詞多義,而且經(jīng)常是考查單詞的某個不太常用的詞義,因此考生在根據(jù)詞義排除選項時不可過于匆忙,要對該選項的含義進(jìn)行全面考慮。
