　?。畚觯?ready為形容詞，而不像中文中準備為動詞。?

　?。畚觯?remember其后接動名詞，動名詞所表示的動作已經(jīng)做完， 如： I don't remember meeting you. 其后如接不定式，不定式表達的動作還沒有去做，如： Do remember to tur n off the light before you leave.?

　　［析］ rest作剩余部分講時，the rest of…結構作主語時 其謂語動詞應與of后面的名詞的數(shù)保持一致。這種用法還有1/3 of, 80% of等。?

　　［析］ return即為返回，所以back是多余的。這句話還可以 表述為： My friends went back to their second home town.?

　?。畚觯?riches為財富，是復數(shù)名詞，沒有單數(shù)形式。像這 樣的詞還有goods(貨物)，greens(青菜)，manners(禮貌)等。?
