用奧巴馬總統(tǒng)演講寫作雅思作文

　　In 1979, trade between the United States and China stood at roughly $5 billion -- today it tops over $400 billion each year. The commerce affects our peoples lives in so many ways. America imports from China many of the computer parts we use, the clothes we wear; and we export to China machinery that helps power your industry. This trade could create even more jobs on both sides of the Pacific, while allowing our people to enjoy a better quality of life. And as demand becomes more balanced, it can lead to even broader prosperity.

　　Ive said many times that I believe that our world is now fundamentally interconnected. The jobs we do, the prosperity we build, the environment we protect, the security that we seek -- all of these things are shared.

　　總統(tǒng)也提到了體育發(fā)展對于全人類的意義，同樣，這個內(nèi)容可以運用于以下這個考題：

　　總統(tǒng)講話內(nèi)容：

　　And in 1979, the connections among our people were limited. Today, we see the curiosity of those ping-pong players manifested in the ties that are being forged across many sectors.

　　我們都知道環(huán)境問題是雅思議論文中一個比較熱門的考題，我們曾經(jīng)遇到過：

　　The environmental problems are becoming worse. What can we do to help to make it better?/ Some people say that solving environmental problems should only be the government concern, companies and individuals can hardly make any effort. What is your opinion?

　　總統(tǒng)講話中關(guān)于環(huán)境的內(nèi)容還是比較多的，總統(tǒng)認(rèn)為中國和美國作為兩個世界大國，應(yīng)該在環(huán)境問題的解決上起到領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和主導(dǎo)作用。政府應(yīng)當(dāng)首當(dāng)其沖的站在一個積極保護(hù)環(huán)境的立場。

　　In the United States, I think we are learning how to develop buildings that use much less energy, that are much more energy-efficient. And I know that with Shanghai, as I traveled and I saw all the cranes and all the new buildings that are going up, its very important for us to start incorporating these new technologies so that each building is energy-efficient when it comes to lighting, when it comes to heating. And so its a terrific opportunity I think for us to learn from each other.

　　So let me give you a specific example, and that is the issue we were just discussing of climate change. The United States and China are the worlds two largest emitters of greenhouse gases, of carbon that is causing the planet to warm. Now, the United States, as a highly developed country, as I said before, per capita, consumes much more energy and emits much more greenhouse gases for each individual than does China. On the other hand, China is growing at a much faster pace and it has a much larger population. So unless both of our countries are willing to take critical steps in dealing with this issue, we will not be able to resolve it.

　　講話中總統(tǒng)還運用了美國本土的俚語：I dont know if theres a similar saying in China -- we have a saying: You made your bed, now you have to sleep in it. 而這句話用在雅思犯罪類的作文里是再貼切不過的了，類似于中文的咎由自取。
