Customer service refers to the way that companies behave towards their customers. It’s the quality of service that determines whether the customer remains with the company. However, many a time organizations don’t focus on customer relationship management, and that’s what makes customers angry, which is one of the reasons why companies lose their customers. So customer service is vital and you should know how to improve it.
First of all, you need to realize how important the customers are. It’s they who are the boss, and it’s because of them that you get your pay checks. So do take your customers seriously.
Finding out the needs of the customers is another important customer service tip. You need to ask the customers the right kind of questions and think of the possible solutions which you can provide.Understand how they feel according to a particular situation, their body language, tone of voice and words. Never make assumptions and think that you know what the customers want.
Making customers feel they are important is an excellent way to serve them better. Treat customers as individuals and the best way to do that is using their first name and finding ways of praising them in a sincere way.
In addition, there are some other skills which will help you to serve your customers better. For example, once you finish solving the problem for the customer, before ending the call, always remember to ask if there is anything else you can do for them.
End the call with a “thank you”. If customers are angry, let them express their anger completely. Never interrupt or start speaking until they’ve finished. Once they’ve finished speaking, try to calm them down by apologizing.
In a word, always remember that if the customers remain happy, you’ll be in business.

表示倍數(shù)、百分?jǐn)?shù)、分?jǐn)?shù)的詞應(yīng)放在as…as 的第一個(gè)as 前面。
a bit of “有點(diǎn)兒”,修飾名詞。
kind“善良的,和藹的”;false“假的,人造的”;casual“隨意的,隨便的”;typical“典型的,有代表性的”。
on purpose“故意地”;by chance“偶然,碰巧”;on my own “單獨(dú)地,獨(dú)自地”;on occasion“有時(shí),偶爾”。
6.A 考查date back to的用法。date back to相當(dāng)于date from,通常只用于一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
out of breath“上氣不接下氣地”;above one's breath“高聲地”;under one's breath“低聲地”;short of breath“呼吸困難”。
9.D It is (about/high) time后接that從句時(shí),從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用一般過(guò)去時(shí)表示虛擬語(yǔ)氣。
used to 表示“過(guò)去經(jīng)?!?, 暗示現(xiàn)在并不如此。 D 項(xiàng)之所以不對(duì),是因?yàn)樵谝韵略~組中,當(dāng)不定式省略時(shí),通常要保留不定式符號(hào) to, 如: used to, be going to, mean to, ought to, try to, plan to 等。
13.D 根據(jù)主句內(nèi)容,which 引導(dǎo)非限制性定語(yǔ)從句,which 表示前面“衰老的結(jié)果”。result in “導(dǎo)致”, lead in “導(dǎo)入”; give in “屈服”; run into “陷入”。
因?yàn)檫@里有一個(gè)表示過(guò)去的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)in childhood and teenage years, 所以只能用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。
energy“精力”;vigor“活力”; power“權(quán)力”。
It's possible/probable/likely +that 從句。 但possible/probable 不能構(gòu)成sth./sb. is possible/probable to do sth.
contribute to“導(dǎo)致,促成”; attend to“照料”; add to“增加”; devote to“獻(xiàn)身于”。
