?。蹠r(shí)間、對(duì)象和主題]Last week, we made a survey among 500 Senior Two students about the most worrying problems in the 21st century. [調(diào)查結(jié)果]The survey shows that 32% of the students think that they worry about the natural disasters most,
for earthquakes and floods have taken many people’s lives.
Besides,
29% of the students hold the opinion that environmental pollution is the most worrying problem
while
17% of the students consider the housing problem to be the most worrying one.
The percentage of the students who worry most about employment is the same as that of the students who worry most about food safety.
?。圩髡哂^點(diǎn)]As for myself, food safety is the most worrying problem
because
it is linked closely to our health and our generation. ●調(diào)查請(qǐng)家教的情況
A survey on private tutoring was carried out among the students in our school last month, which indicates that about 25% of the students have private tutors for a variety of reasons. Most of them choose to have private tutoring at weekends or during holidays.
Some of the students believe that private tutors enable them to raise academic achievement. Others think it takes up so much of their free time that they can hardly find enough time for rest and entertainment.
In my opinion, some students may become too dependent on their tutors, which will weaken their learning abilities. ●中學(xué)生的春節(jié)活動(dòng)
Recently we did a survey among 368 middle school students on how they spent their Spring Festival. 30% of them said they spent most of their time with their parents visiting relatives and friends while 25% went traveling with classmates or parents. 45% of all those surveyed indicated that they just stayed at home to do homework.
When asked how they felt about the Spring Festival, most said they enjoyed it because of the holiday and lucky money they got, but some felt unhappy because the amount of homework they were given left little time for fun activities. Many students expressed the hope that next year they will have less homework and more free time.
●中學(xué)生是否該做兼職
Dear Editor,
I’m writing to tell you the result of a survey I have done among my classmates on whether middle school students should do part-time jobs as it has also been a hot topic among us students. Nearly two-thirds of my 62 classmates has ever done or are doing part-time jobs, working as shop assistants, waiters in fast food restaurants or librarians. About half of them take up part-time jobs to help solve financial problems for their families.
Others give up their leisure time because the jobs provide them with good chances to enrich their social experience and put what they have learned in class into practice. The other students do not do part-time jobs because under great pressure, students of senior three can not afford the time for the jobs which are poorly paid. Besides, their parents wouldn’t allow them to do that.
Yours sincerely,
Yang Li * * * * * *
