2024年中考英語(yǔ)詞組辨析：build/ found/ put up/ set up

　?、? build “建筑、建造”指施工建筑，如房屋、橋梁、道路等的建造，也可用于廣義。如：

　　We are building socialism with China’s style. 我們正在建設(shè)具有中國(guó)特色的社會(huì)主義。

　　Ⅱ. found “創(chuàng)立、成立、創(chuàng)辦”批創(chuàng)立一個(gè)組織、機(jī)構(gòu)、國(guó)家等。如：

　　① They founded(=built) a school for the blind. 他們創(chuàng)辦了一億盲人學(xué)校。

　　② The People’s Republic of China was founded in 1949. 中華人民共和國(guó)成立于是1949年。

　?、? put up 和set up 人含義很多，但他們?cè)诒硎尽按钇稹⒇Q起、掛起”以及表建筑物“建起”的意思時(shí)，可以通用。只不過(guò)put up 比set up 要常見(jiàn)些。如：

　?、?The boys put up (set up) their tents in the woods. 孩子們?cè)跇?shù)林里搭起了帳篷。

　　② They have put up(set up) several cattle sheds for the team. 他們?yōu)殛?duì)里建造了幾個(gè)牛棚。

　　但set up 在表示“建起、成立”某一機(jī)構(gòu)團(tuán)體時(shí)，不能用put up 替換。如：

　　The factory set up a night school last month. 這個(gè)工廠上月成立了一所夜校。
