Living alone or Living with Roommates
Nowadays, there has appeared a heated discussion among the college students as to whether they should live off campus(住在校外)or live together with other roommates in the students dormitory. Opinions vary from person to person.
Those who are in favor of (支持)Living alone maintain (主張,認(rèn)為)that it is very convenient to live by themselves. They can enjoy absolute freedom (享受充分的自由)in a room of their own(屬于他們自己的). They can have their own timetable (時(shí)間表)without disturbing(打擾)others. But others argue that living with roommates has attractions of its own. With several students sharing (共有)the same room, each persons experiences can be greatly enriched(極大的豐富). They can learn a lot from talking to each other. Moreover,by learning totolerate (忍受)the differences between individuals, they can become more mature(成熟的).
As far as Im concerned, I prefer to live with roommates because I love the sense of belonging(歸屬感). Besides, live in a dorm can help save a large sum of money(節(jié)約很多錢).last but not least, living on campus can help me save a great deal of time on the way between dwelling and school, which means that I can concentrate more time and energy on(將更多的時(shí)間和精力集中于)my studies.
