1. live apart 分開住
e.g. The butterfly and the milkweed , although competitors in a way , cannot live apart .

2. apart from除了
apart from有兩種含義:
=besides 除...之外
e. g. Apart from sport, my other interest is music. 除了運(yùn)動,我的另一個(gè)興趣是聽音樂.
=except for 如果沒有
e.g. Apart from that, all goes well. 除了那一點(diǎn),一切都正常
3. make/offer an apology to sb for sth. 因某事向某人認(rèn)錯(cuò)或道歉
