c)年份的寫法和讀法

1983 十位數(shù)19實(shí)際上是以hundred為單位，也就是公元一千九百年;83表明具體年份。

還有一種說法：

房間號(hào)碼在100以下的：

可見說幾路公共汽車和房間號(hào)碼同說一般數(shù)字不同。此外，可以說a 412 bus,也可以說the 412 bus(用a或the視上下文而定)。但只能說room 412。

b)電話號(hào)碼的讀法如下：

713 8174 - seven one three eight one seven four

如果其中有的數(shù)字重疊，可以這樣說：

c)在寫地址的時(shí)候，漢語是先寫區(qū)的名稱，然后是街道名稱，最后是門牌號(hào)碼。英語恰好相反，順序是：門牌號(hào)碼、街道名稱、區(qū)的`名稱。例如：

d)數(shù)字0(零)的各種讀法：

字母o常用于公共汽車，房間號(hào)碼，小數(shù)等等。

數(shù)字以-ty結(jié)尾的，重音在第一個(gè)音節(jié)，例如：thirty, forty。以-teen結(jié)尾的，用于強(qiáng)調(diào)的位置時(shí)，重音在第二個(gè)音節(jié)，例如：amanda's thirteen;用于名詞前面時(shí)，重音在第一個(gè)音節(jié)，例如it's thirteen dollars。你聽的時(shí)候要很注意，才能聽出thirteen等詞和thirty等詞的區(qū)別。

廣播里可以聽到中國(guó)、澳大利亞、美國(guó)、法國(guó)的國(guó)歌，還可以聽到一首簡(jiǎn)單的數(shù)數(shù)歌，一首人們常唱的祝賀生日歌，在john過生日的那一天，barbara就唱這首歌向他祝賀。
