Before I go to college, I have to wear school uniforms, different school has different uniforms. As for me, I get used to wearing uniforms, but for many of my classmates, they hate to wear uniforms so much, different students have different opinions.

First, the ones who like to wear school uniforms think that they don’t have to worry about what to wear. In the school, the students’ main duty is to study, the clothes style will distract them, some students even like to compete with others, wearing expensive clothes, showing off their rich family. Just like the school queen and king. It is not good for student’s growing.

Second, the ones who are object to wear school uniforms think that it limits their individuality. As we are in the young age, we have the right to decide what we wear, wearing the school uniforms all the time is so uncomfortable, we should wear colorful clothes. What’s more, the students have to pay for the uniforms, they are unwilling to spend money on the ugly style.

Both opinions are reasonable, I take vote to the former, before high school, we should wear school uniforms, when we are in college, we can choose wear what we want.

My opinion is that it is worth the praise it has received.

In the first place, school uniform helps students foster team spirit and strengthen the spirit of cooperation. Providing a sense of unity, the uniform makes everyone feel that he or she is influential and indispensable in the team. Regardless of performance in class or examination, one student is wearing the same clothes as the others and working on his share for the team responsibility. Naturally they will be willing to participate in the team and proud of their contributions. Brought up in this caring and inclusive environment, students will have an easy time functioning in new community and collaborating with coworkers.

In the second place, school uniform reinforces the sense of equality for a diversified student body. School uniform tends to narrow down the discrepancy between students from families of low and high economic status. In this sense it may help lift some psychological obstacles. Owing to school uniform, the bias against poor students will disappear gradually. Had it not been for school uniform, wearing shabby clothes would be a constant reminder of poor family conditions. And what’s worse, they would feel ashamed of whom they are and the low self-esteem may have adverse impacts on study.

Last but not least, school uniform takes effect when accidents occur and the safety of students is endangered. The name or logo of school printed on uniform will help witness to know the victim’s identity and come to timely and efficient aid.

On the whole, students will benefit a great deal from their uniforms for the reasons ranging from their personality cultivation to aids in face of danger. Considering all above factors, it bears no reasoning to abandon school uniform.

But the evaluation of students and parents on the school uniforms is always dissatisfied than commended. Don’t we want to wear school uniforms? Absolutely not. Being short-sighted is common among students, even in primary school. That is too serious. Therefore, we should protect our eyes carefully. When we are reading and writing, we should keep a standard posture. Besides, we should not watch TV or play computer for too long. They are bad for our eyes. Secondly, school uniform means once you wear it, there will be lots of others looks just like you in school. Students was deprived of personality, it is not good for them to develop their creativity.
